God of our lives

Work Hard, Play Harder!!!!

WOW, 1st March already! Time aint waiting for no man... "So how was February for you guys, anything exciting happen?"

For me, February was a busy but good month. I had the chance to attend some networking events and meet some inspiring people. I also put on my 1st major event of the year, a 3 day conference called "Winterfest". It took a lot of hard work, dedication and tons of deep breaths but seeing the final result of the event and hearing the feedback from people made all that stress worth it. I also finally started to work & make progress on a project I was meant to start 2 months ago.  

Despite the busy month, I did manage to have one or two days of fun. One of those days included attending the "Benjart B'day / Thank You Party" at Bungalow 8. The night was exactly what I needed and it was good to let my hair down after a stressful few days. Shout out to Benjart for a great night!!! Attending the party made me realise that since the start of the year, I have been spending a lot of time working and not really dedicating enough time to doing things I like to do, so I have officially declared March - "The Month of Fun!!!!"

I plan to catch up with some friends, attend a few events and overall just have a good time whilst still making sure I achieve my goals for this month. Hopefully it would also help my creativity and give me some new fresh ideas for my projects.

New Month, New Goals

January is officially done and dusted for this year and we are now progressing into the 2nd month of the year. "So how was the first month of the year for you all?"

For me, I found January to be a progressive and very busy month. I was given some unexpected projects to work on and also started working on my own personal projects. At one point during the month I actually started to consider if I was taking on more than I could handle.

But then I started to remember that "Nothing is Impossible", with dedication, perfect planning, good time management and realistic monthly goals I can achieve all that I need to do. Sometimes you have to be prepared to go that extra mile to do what you have to do.

So as we start a new month, why not write a list of things that you want to achieve this month, it could be big or small goals either way it does not matter. The goal might be something to do with your yearly goal or it might be something completely different. For example, take up a new sport.

Remember February is a short month so make sure that your goals are realistic and achievable and maybe if you need that extra encouragement give yourself an incentive for achieving your goal at the end  of the month.

It's a new month with new opportunities, forget about the things you did not achieve last month and start a fresh this month. The World is your Oyster!!!!
